Designed by Walter Rayner of Poole and built by the specialist wooden yacht yard of Woodnutts in Warsash in 1963, Crusader is one of those boats that needs to be owned by someone who understands the love and care that went into her, and wants a boat that feels "alive" and  gives lots of pleasure and a sense of satisfaction cruising at sea. 

The Crusader has a long history of trips to Southern England, the Iberian Peninsula and the Mediterranean Sea. Crusader was found in poor condition and was completely restored in 2015. After many complicated steps, restoration began. It was a profound restoration, done by experienced professionals in shipbuilding and foremost by very special friends who contributed their time, effort and wisdom.

We intend to be a sea training ship and sail training for owners and young cadets who love the sea!
